The Tech For Good By New Caledonia® initiative, created in 2021 by the Government, aims to support technology and digital projects with a strong social, economic, and environmental impact. Over three years, it has fostered local innovation, business creation, the development of the New Caledonian digital ecosystem, and the region’s attractiveness.
Building on the success of the first edition of “Women in Tech: Tech by Women for Women” in 2022, the Government today wishes to reaffirm its commitment to gender diversity and the promotion of women in tech and digital technology.
In this context, New Caledonia is launching the 2025 edition of the Tech For Good By New Caledonia® call for projects, entitled “Women in Tech: Tech is also a women’s issue.”
Call For Projects Women in Tech 2025
For this new edition, all themes can be addressed
(Sustainable Tech, Cybersecurity and Data Protection, AI, Culture, Health and Well-being, Education, Inclusive Tech, etc.)
The New Caledonian government’s ambition is to support and promote technological and digital initiatives led by women.
Four priorities:
Encourage female entrepreneurship in tech and digital;
Supporting innovation in the service of digital transition, the common good and economic attractiveness;
Increase the visibility of local entrepreneurs and actresses;
Bring out exportable success stories, in line with the challenges of the region.
Who can apply?
★Startups
★Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs)
★Very Small Enterprises (VSEs)
★Nonprofits
All project leaders who wish to apply must be domiciled in New Caledonia. Applicant organizations must provide a valid RIDET and RIB (Bank Account Number).
Calendar
★ October 3, 2025: opening of the call for projects
★ October 21, 2025: closing of the call for projects
★ From October 27 to October 30, 2025: analysis and selection of files
★ November 6, 2025: Announcement of winners and award ceremony
Awards
Following the jury’s deliberation, best solutions will be rewarded.
Three prizes will be awarded
★ Prizes
- Financial support of a maximum amount of 500,000 CFP in operating costs may be provided to each of the winners.
